The goal of the project:
Guide-navigator on monuments of history and culture of Turkey
is to increase the attendance of Russian-speaking tourists to monuments of history and culture of Turkey
For objects, it is possible to create virtual museums. As a part of the pilot project, it is planned to add 40 facilities.
Virtual tours from 360-degree panoramas with built-in info tags will make your visit to historical and cultural places more intense.
An interactive guide will tell you about the sights in an interesting way, and how you can visit these places now. The map will help you to build a route.
Mobile application "Turkey"
Relevance of the project
In connection with the pandemia, the number of tourists decreased, infrastructure suffered. But with the resumption of the tourist flow, interest will gradually return to values as before.
The presence of such an application can make the rest more useful and informative, stimulate the desire to visit historical sites, increase the flow of tourists, and stimulate the transport infrastructure.
Most tourists spend their holidays in Turkey in the “hotel - beach - rare excursions” format. Meanwhile, this land has a deep history and culture.
From January to October 2019, Turkey was visited by:
6,7
russian tourists
mil.
40,7
foreign tourists
mil.
Relevance of the project
For each object, it is planned to shoot a virtual tour from the air, on the territory and inside the objects.
The application will have a news feed that can be filled in by representatives of the Russian Embassy, the Ministry of Tourism and Culture. If desired, any object can have its own heading in this feed (for example, museum news).
The application will have a map with objects marked on it and the ability to get information on them (contact details, operating hours, historical information, and so on), build a route and take a virtual tour.
The application may contain information about the rules of visiting Turkey, the rules of import and export, a short phrasebook, contacts of authorities and security authorities and other useful information for tourists.
Additional benefits
The mobile application will allow you to quickly convey the necessary information related to visiting the country to the tourists. This may be information from the Russian Embassy in Turkey, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, the information about festivals and other events.
On the basis of the application, you can remotely study the history and culture of Turkey, for example, in schools or universities in Russian-speaking countries. And the use of inexpensive VR glasses will make this study effective. This will improve intercultural contacts.
Development opportunities
Subsequently, the addition of other objects can be easily carried out through the administration panel of the application. The app is easy to expand and update.
Subsequently, you can make an English or Turkish version of the application without significant costs associated with shooting panoramas.
If you set up the appropriate integration, you can make an online sale of entrance tickets or tickets for events through the application in order to reduce queues and save vacationers' time.

Where do we need help
For filming, permission is required for filming from a quadcopter and filming inside objects (preferably with limiting the presence of visitors at the time of filming)
from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture?
It is advisable that a dedicated employee of the Ministry (who speaks English or Russian) helps in coordinating the date and time of the visit with the management of the facilities.
In case of successful implementation of the project, it will be necessary to place information about the application on the facilities themselves and on their Internet resources, at airports, in the booklets of tour operators, in hotels, and so on.
